ABOUT MYSTERY
The vizier of the Nameless Star's Kingdom is a meticulous person. He works hard to make sense of his world and bring order to his kingdom... Which is a nearly impossible task considering he lives in a kingdom full of those descended from faeries nestled in a giant ever shifting dungeon. Needless to say, Mystery's life is a complicated one.

Yet he carries on as best as the circumstances allow. After all, he has a sister to watch over, a kingdom to protect, and the stars on his side.

FIRST IMPRESSION
He's a serious fellow. Strict, perhaps. Maybe a bit high-strung at times. Yet, he's easily flustered minor inconveniences and it's blatantly obvious he would not be able to hold his own in a fight.

APPEARANCE
An effimate figure with long hair and delicate features. Although he keeps his hair tied back in a low ponytail, his bangs still obscure his eyes most of the time.

Adding to the adrogynous effect is his preference for fancy dresses. The style of dress ranges from gothic lolita to full on Victorian day gown, and he has a preference for deep blues with silver and/or gold accents. (Gee, he sure loves star imagery.) A typical outfit for him involves a waistcoat over a collared shirt, some manner of tie or ascot, either a coat or a capelet, and a knee-length skirt paired with stockings and mary janes.

Before anyone asks, he's wearing shorts under that skirt. That's where the sheath to his dagger is kept.

THE Logistician
ISTJ-t
Few personality types are as practical and dedicated as Logisticians. Known for their reliability and hard work, Logisticians are good at creating and maintaining a secure and stable environment for themselves and their loved ones. Logisticians’ dedication is invaluable in many areas, including their own personal growth.

Yet Logisticians can be easily tripped up in areas where their practical and methodical approach are more of a liability than an asset. Whether it is finding (or keeping) a partner, learning to relax or improvise, reaching dazzling heights on the career ladder, or managing their workload, Logisticians need to put in a conscious effort to develop their weaker traits and additional skills.
PERSONALITY
Attempting to bring order to a chaotic world is like making cat herding your entire career. It's fustrating how people around you tend to make unreasonable demands, or how the walls will suddenly shift around and cut you off from your notes or how monsters have a habit of showing up whenever they feel like it. No wonder Mystery is in a constantly annoyed with pretty much everything! He puts up with so much nonsense he's developed a distaste for large crowds and a tendency to hold petty grudges against outsiders who wrong him.

However, he makes a concious effort not to explode at everyone around him. He tries to maintain at least some semblance of professionalism as he tackles issues from a logical standpoint. If the source of the issue is from another party, he will try to negotiate with them and aim for the best possible outcome for him and his allies. Unfortunately, he cannot ignore his own emotions or bias, and sometimes he has to put up with unreasonable Karens or monsters with no sense of intelligence whatsoever... And everything in between. There's only so much he can take before his emotions and bias start bleeding through.

Why does he try to make sense of a world that has little sense? Simple, he wants to protect his family and kingdom. Ever since his parents were killed by criminals, he's dedicated his life to making the Kingdom he lives in a safer place. He's especially concerned about Silence the Unbreakable, his sister and the kingdom's resident Knight. As the surviving member of his family (as far as he can be sure) he worries about her wellbeing. Even so, he understands she's more capable in combat than he'll ever be and is supportive of her own efforts to protect their people.

Then there are the stars. In Mystery's world, stars are sentient beings with minds of their own. As an astrologist, Mystery is capable of understanding them. Yes, he doesn't get too many chances to hold conversations with these cryptic beings, but he trusts their wisdom more than anyone else's.

HISTORY
Link to Logs

A long time ago, long before anyone can remember, Mystery's world was taken over by a mysterious phenomenon known as Labryinthification. Humanity was cut off from each other as walls suddenly sprouted up from nowhere and divided the land into maze-like corridors... Yet, civilization marches on. Little kingdoms sprouted up from the chaos, protected and governed by various rulers and their courts. Inquisitive humans would also venture further into the ever-twisting labyrinth in search of valuable resources and perhaps a few awnsers...

There's a good reason Mystery would appreciate some order to this chaos. When he and his sister, Silence, were younger, a band of criminals mercilessly slaughtered his family. The two of them swore to protect their kingdom in their own ways; Silence honed herself into a living weapon and became the kingdom's Knight, while Mystery threw himself into his studies and became the kingdom's Vizier. We could elaborate more on how these two came to The Kingdom whose Name was Forgotten When The Sun Began to Set (AKA The Nameless Star's Kingdom), or perhaps we could explain that strange dream that led Mystery to study Astrology...

But the truth is, even though it's a well known kingdom, nobody in The Nameless Star's Kingdom knows anything about the Kingdom past 30 years ago. Nobody gave much thought about this, typically putting the blame on fairies even though most people were descended from them. Under the rule of Peacemaker Deathmarch, Bringer of Bad News, the citizens of this kingdom felt safe and content...

Then Pumpkin the Trickster showed up to court one day.

Mystery was a bit late to the early meeting, but the presence of one of the Great Seven Fairies (also known as one of the Great Witches for some reason??) is a huge cause for concern. According to her, The Great Fairies are preparing to invade the kingdom because the Gods apparently hate each other? She suggests that the court goes to her brother Lantern for advice... And then leaves with a question that makes the entire court have a dissociative episode: "[...] You won’t be happy, will you?

Pumpkin refused to be any more "helpful" than that. Unfortunately, this was pretty much the only lead from her. Tequila the Easygoing, a servant of the court, briefs everyone about the current situation: Lantern could be found in Advanced Electrical Conglomerate, a kingdom north of the Nameless Star's Kingdom. There's a couple of other things happening in other neighboring kingdoms, with stars vanishing in the kingdom southeast of his being most concerning to Mystery, but seeing Lantern remains the court's highest priority.

Speaking of stars, though... Mystery hears a tell-tale ringing in his ears and relays a message to the court: "Someone is angry because they are attempting to change this world. There are many theys. One wants a revolution. One wants destruction. One wants to save someone. Be prepared. Soon." With that on his mind, he takes time to prepare for the journey ahead... And gets accosted by an expectant mother who wants him to name her baby. Why are people like this? Mystery would love to know.

ANYWAY. Morning Who Was Once Loved sent out a small expedition team and her rooster-with-human-hands to scout the area ahead. They came back with valuable information... But one Jack the Risktaker pushed his luck too far and wound up MIA in a room with mirrors and staircases.
